Mark Savage - Company Director
Mark formed Savage Wilderness Safari’s in 1987 after noticing a gap in the Outdoor Adventure market in Kenya at that time. He has since gone on to mould the company into the leading provider in the country. With over 30 years experience in the field, past triumphs include climbing ascents in Yosemite, Mt's Mckinley, Kenya and Kilimanjaro. First descents of the Tana, Athi and Ewaso Ng’iro Rivers. Also the running of the highly successful ‘I will not complain’ programme; corporate development for businessmen from East Africa and the Far East. |

James Savage - Operations Manager
A recent honours graduate of the Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) Outdoor and Environmental Education programme, James grew up on the rivers of Kenya and is a highly experienced guide. He holds the Kenya Professional Safari Guide qualification and is a qualified mountaineering and climbing instructor. He lists his current passion as the field of outdoor developmental training. |

Kris Collyer - Senior river guide
Kris moved over from the UK 3 years ago and is another honours graduate of the LJMU programme With 10 years industry experience he brings a fresh outlook to the company. Kris specialises in the field of kayaking, and runs the companies new kayak school as well as exploring the wilder rivers of East Africa in his spare time. He also assists with promotions, marketing and is the current schools
co-ordinator. |

Andreas Reblin - Guide/Facilitator & owner of
Bunge ewala Ltd
Andreas has been with the company since moving from Germany in 1990. He has a wealth of experience on Kenyan rivers and is an experienced Mt Kenya/Kilimanjaro guide. His passion for kayaking has seen him explore rivers all over Europe and Africa. He recently started Bungeewalla Ltd, East Africa’s first Bungee jump. Built to his own design at 200ft high. This activity is now one of the top tests of our corporate programme. |

Titus Murithi Mukundi - Guide /Facilitator Titus has been with the company for 5 years. He approached us in 2002 to learn to Kayak. After learning to kayak we taught him to guide and how to facilitate. Titus’ kayaking has come along way, so far that Titus now represent Kenya at the kayaking slalom world championships. |

Lynn Savage – Facilitator and consultant
Lynn is a recently retired teacher. She taught in several of the top schools in UK and Kenya in her 28 years of teaching. She now helps run our school programs bringing a high educational aspect to the trips.

Marcus Savage - Guide/Facilitator
Marcus is a recent graduate from the University of Bristol where he gained a Masters Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He has worked for several summers in Montana as a river guide on the Yellowstone River for Wild West Rafting. He now brings his passion and skills for all outdoor activities to the rivers and mountains of Kenya. He is an outdoor enthusiast who spends his spare time rock climbing, kayaking and enjoying the beauty of this country.

Eric Kanyeri - Guide/Facilitator
A recent addition to the team, Eric has worked for several years with the Kenyan Presidents Award Scheme and has become an outstanding individual with great leadership qualities. He works predominantly with team building and school groups and is now training to become a river guide. Eric has also become an accomplished rock climber and enjoys the mountains. |
