 FAQ , Whitewater Kayaking
Am I going to get wet, and how should I dress?
Yes. Water does splash on you. Wear shorts and t-shirt and shoes that can get wet but won't come off your feet. Foot injury is the most common injury, from walking around on uneven terrain and broken glass. Shoes should be worn at all times. Bring a glasses strap, sunscreen, a sun hat, a towel, a change of clothes, a camera and a sense of adventure.

Does weather affect the kayak lesson?
No it doesn’t as you will be on the river getting wet any way. The only thing that will effect the cession is water levels and we have different locations for different lesions.

What will I learn?
You will learn the ins and outs of kayaking starting with the equipment requied to be safe on the river, how to handle your boat in flat water, and moving onto more difficult water.

What is Class I-V?
River rapids are rated on a scale of I through V -with V being the most difficult.

How do I get to Savage Camp?
